Dr Rebecca Hill (SA)


Dr Rebecca Hill is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Medical Unit Head at Helen Mayo House, the Mother-Baby Unit for South Australia, which is a part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). She has worked in Mother-Baby Units for 15 years now, previously working at the Werribee Mercy Mother-Baby Unit in Victoria. Rebecca trained in Psychiatry at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, where she developed an interest in Women's Mental Health. Her experience at the Werribee MBU led to an interest in Infant Mental Health, and the completion of a Graduate Diploma in Infant and Parent Mental Health at the University of Melbourne in 2012. Rebecca is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and served as an author on the Expert Group for the most recent revision of “Therapeutic Guidelines: Psychotropic”. Current interests include infant-parent relationship therapy and the treatment of postpartum psychosis.
